Blended learning and lessons learnt

From 2 July to 4 July 2018, the tenth annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies will be held in Palma de Mallorca in Spain. Here, Galena Pisoni, researcher at the University of Trento and part of the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) team of EIT Digital and Frédéric Renouard, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Education lead at EIT Digital, will be sharing their experience on how the Universities within the EIT Digital ecosystem redesigned their I&E courses from traditional courses to blended ones.

The presentation will be on 2 July at 6.15 pm.

EIT Digital has, together with 18-20 top technical universities across Europe, been working for over three years to implement blended learning strategies with different blended learning models. In these years, EIT Digital has built an international community of Innovation and Entrepreneurship teachers at masters and doctoral level . The group has experimented with several blended learning models.

Pisoni, together with other authors from the University of Trento (Italy), Agoranov (France), Sorbonne Université (France), Université de Rennes 1 (France), Aalto University (Finland) and the Universidad Politécnica in Madrid wrote a paper: Towards blended learning implementation of innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) education within EIT Digital: The models and lessons learnt.

Their case study contributes to the analyses of how blended learning can be diffused and adopted widely within networks of universities. The implemented models are Flipped Classroom, Blended online course, Online starter kit, Independent Levelling-up and Online repository.
