The EIT ICT Labs Master School students from the Netherlands attended recently an event 'Stammtisch' organised by the Climate KIC Alumni Association. The Stammtisch took place in Utrecht.

At this event, students belonging to the three EIT Knowledge Innovation Communities InnoEnergy, Climate and EIT ICT Labs, came together. The students presented their study programs and on-going projects undertaken by their alumni associations. Furthermore, a talk about environmental ethics was held by Willem Vermaat, a junior lecturer in environmental sciences at Utrecht University. At the end, the audience was invited to answer to questions like what are the ethical views towards climate change and what ways exist for having a sustainable lifestyle.

It was a great chance for students with different backgrounds to get to know each other and to exchange knowledge and expertise. A good occasion to raise awareness across KICs. This splendid initiative deserves a follow up soon. Let us see who will organise the next Stammtisch!
