Startup Creation in Eindhoven

A startup will be created to develop a platform for intelligent planning and distribution of packages with autonomous vehicles.

Action Line: Digital Industry

Location: Eindhoven

Warehousing and delivery of packages are currently two separate, non-communicating and labour intensive processes, operating independently of each other. This results in high lead times and high costs, especially in deliveries to (crowded) urban and remote areas. Costs of small/low weight packages are high and need to be reduced to remain sustainable and economically feasible. The motivation for all of these is to remove barriers from the development of future competitive eCommerce retail.

A start-up will be created that develops a platform that will intelligently plan, distribute and deliver packages with autonomous vehicles (aerial or terrestrial). These will be linked to the warehouse/hub, enabling distribution of packages in an intelligent, fast and cost-effective way based on availability of vehicles, size, weight, delivery distance, etc..

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate that has knowledge, skills and experience with embedded systems and a strong interest in business development. The role will involve all elements of business development, including market research, identifying growth opportunities (possible development directions), defining the business strategy and business model.
